NORTHWEST TRAVEL
The website of Northwest Travel magazine shows a basic layout containing images, titles and hyperlinks to direct audiences around the site. The title of the magazine has been placed towards the top left corner of the site in a bright green font helping to stand out upon the page. The images used on the site are all good quality and are enticing for audiences, they also help to reflect the nature of the magazines content clearly. The images used on the home page of the site are also covers of articles in which the magazine have produced and published. A task bar has also been added to the site containing headings that direct users around the website easily. The colour scheme on the site is very basic but selective. The colours chosen to feature on the site, such as green, greys and red, all reflect the theme of the magazine.
I believe that the format and layout of the website works well as its easy on the eye, projects the theme of the magazine clearly and is easy to use. If I were to suggest an improvement for this site I would look at adding a more varied colour range and maybe a background image in order to improve the overall aesthetics of the web page.
